Trees in Formation
<Trees in Formation> is a multimedia installation examining the former military site Albgut in
Münsingen, Germany. Through a projected terrain model and video, it reveals how buildings,
paths, and spatial order are designed to impose control rather than individuality. Layered images
of the site are combined with personal memories of military service in South Korea, exploring
the strange familiarity of landscape, architecture, exposure, and discipline.
